Hypertension

Hypertension‌ ‌–‌ ‌Symptoms‌ ‌

Hypertension or High Blood Pressure induces the risk of heart disease or stroke; it is also referred to as pressure building against the wall of the arteries which transmits blood from the heart to the other parts of the body. The blood pressure is at its peak when the heart beats, this is called Systolic blood pressure and when the heart relaxes in between the beats, the blood pressure drops, this is called Diastolic blood pressure. The normal blood pressure is considered to be between 90/60 and 120/80, it is measured in millimeters of mercury. The high blood pressure is generally above 140/90 or higher.
