What is DENV2
Dengue is mosquito-borne viral infection. The virus that is responsible for dengue fever is dengue virus. There are four dengue serotypes– DENV1, DENV2. DENV3 and DENV4. It means that you can get infected four times by the virus. While many DENV infections cause mild flu-like symptoms, some develop into more severe dengue, namely DENV type 2.
