deadly malaria

What causes Malaria?

The deadly malaria is again on its hunt and the best way to safeguard yourself and your family is to be aware. The first line of awareness goes to how malaria is caused. When one knows the causes, they become more precautionary and can find their own ways to avoid the agents that cause Malaria.

Malaria is caused by the Plasmodium parasite. The parasite makes way into the human body through mosquitoes that are infected with the same. There are different types of this parasite but only a few can infect human bodies.

Once a mosquito is infected by the plasmodium parasite and bites a person, the person gets a liver infection and hence infected red blood cells. When another mosquito bites this person to suck in blood, it gets infected as well.

The main problem that causes so many people to suffer with Malaria is when it is spread from one person to another. And the medium is mostly the Female Anopheles Mosquitoes. These are often called night mosquitoes as they bite mostly between sunset and sunrise.

The mosquitoes bite an infected person, the parasite is further developed inside the mosquito, and when it bites another pupil, he/she also gets infected.

Therefore, the best way to keep away from Malaria is to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. You can take various steps to ensure so.

If you or any of your family members feel feverish or show any other symptoms of any mosquito-borne disease, you must consult a doctor for proper diagnosis of the disease for proper treatment.
