Arthritis

Arthritis is a disease of joints and it is most commonly seen in weight bearing joints such as knees, hips, and vertebral joints. It occurs due to wear and tear of joint surface and cause pain during weight bearing. It also causes morning stiffness and swelling on affected joints. It may also require surgical intervention in order to reduce disability.

Low back pain

Nowadays, low back pain is commonly seen in both middle aged and old aged people. But it is more disabling in old age people. Low back pain can be due to multiple reasons and it may also cause pain radiating to legs if any nerve gets impinged in between bone surfaces. Muscle strengthening and hip mobility are required to keep the spine stable and pain free. Posture training and core exercises should be performed to reduce pain and avoid further deterioration.
